All of us at Miko Coffee are enormously excited to be part of the Facilities Show 2014. Starting on June 17th, the Facilities Show is in its 15th year and taking place in London for the first time, at the ExCeL. It is an exhibition dedicated to bringing together facilities managers with suppliers and specialists offering products, services and best-fit solutions for organisations’ various needs.

Each year approximately 15,000 people attend and it always proves to be a productive, fun and worthwhile venture for us, enabling us to meet new people and open up doors to new and exciting business opportunities. Last year our exhibit got a great response. In particular, we were approached by a 600 person strong telesales company and signed them up as a client. We are still providing coffee and related services to them today.

Our exhibit will raise the curtain on the best that Miko Coffee has to offer. We plan to reach out to office-based businesses to propose beverage solutions. 10 of us will be in attendance, including a sales manager who will talk about the services we offer to businesses who purchase one of our coffee machines. Our exhibit will feature a coffee bar, with an assortment of coffees, teas and hot chocolates to try, including our Puro Coffee and Bellevue Tea ranges. Working coffee machines will be on display for people to watch the tantalising transformation from innocuous bean to rich, complex coffee experience. The exhibit will be dressed by fine-looking, aroma-rich coffee plants in various points in their lives. And our staff will share stories of the good work being done at Puro Coffee, protecting and nurturing the rainforests where our coffee is farmed. As we try to put as much money as we can back into the environment, we are upcycling the pallets that bring our supplies and using them as exhibition stands, to reflect our dedication to waste prevention.

But the highlight of our exhibit will be the 3 metre high coffee tree, blooming with real coffee cherries, which has been shipped over from its home in the rainforest to tell a few stories of its own.
