Miko Coffee Ltd currently has a vacancy for a highly motivated coffee expert to join our busy team.  The role will be based in and around London and the Home Counties and the successful applicant will need to live in this area.

The role will be field based and involve conducting coffee quality audits, barista training sessions, training our team in coffee knowledge and skills,  occasional work at exhibitions and giving presentations to customers.

Advanced barista skills are essential for this role including the ability to set grinders and make minor adjustments to coffee machines.  Experience in a sales environment would also be advantageous.

The ideal candidate would have the following skills:

  • A detailed knowledge of coffee from plantation to cup
  • Excellent barista skills and speciality coffee menus
  • Excellent customer care & organisational skills
  • A good understanding of current trends in the industry including artisan, roasting, single origin and brewing techniques
  • Have good presentation skills
  • Have train to train experience
  • Be outgoing, confident and self driven
  • Excellent people skills to have the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Have a full clean driving licence

A competitive rate of pay and OTE is available depending on experience.
