Portioli is a company dedicated to coffee processing, with over 60 years of coffee experience. Originating in 1958 in Milan, the company has been passed down through four generations, with the same mission to offer everyone the best coffee.

All the coffee produced goes through four stages from cleaning, roasting, blending and sorting, which is all carried out in-house, within the Portioli’s Plant. The company’s mission is continuous research and technology to create the best coffee blends and an always-excellent espresso.

There are 15 different flavours of coffee to choose from, and they originate from Central America, South America, Africa and Asia. There are differing notes of chocolate, fruit, sweetness, spice, acid and body. Portioli is directed at those who give extra attention to customers and understand coffee as a ritual.

Portioli has a strong environmental focus with efforts to reduce water consumption, conserve energy, implement waste management systems and donate to charity.

Why Portioli Coffee?

While the cultivation of coffee is thought to have originated in Ethiopia, like so many traditions, the Italians have managed to adopt and perfect it. In 1958 Giorgio Portioli bought a tasting-bar in Eustachio in Milan, where he started using a roasting machine to produce and sell high-quality coffee blends.

The success achieved lead Portioli to sell his blends to others bars and cafeterias in Italy. In 1989 the company moved to a larger headquarter and started exporting worldwide. Portioli is still a family company, now in its fourth generation, offering top quality and dedication.
