Fairtrade guarantees a better deal to producers in the developing world. This means a stable price that covers their production costs, along with a premium that their organisation will be able to reinvest either in the business or social and environmental schemes among the wider community.

The Amazon Rainforest has been described as the "Lungs of our Planet" because it provides the essential environmental world service of continuously recyling carbon dioxide into oxygen. More than 20% of the world's oxygen is produced in the Amazon Rainforest.

We see no sense in industry growth at the expense of community and the welfare of our planet. We aim to assist in every small way in halting the deforestation of our planet and are proud to have teamed up our Puro brand with the World Land Trust to assist in making it an economic reality.
